Acteens
Acteens is a dynamic missions organization for young ladies in grades 7 through 12. We meet each Wednesday from 6:00 to 6:45 pm in Room D202. Our Acteens group is the largest (and perhaps most active) in the state! Programs range from games to food, crafts to skits, and videos to hands-on helping activities. Some of our projects have included:
- Studying about missions from Alaska to New York City, NY, directly helping people from Israel to Columbiana, Alabama.
- Sorting and organizing a mountain of food, toiletries and toys at the Shelby Baptist Association for Hurricane Katrina victims. Afterwards, the girls partied with crafts, food and games.
- Raising over $400 for home/local missions at FBC Alabaster's Fall Festival.
- Buying gifts for the Christmas Gift Shop.
- Helping with the missions banquet.
Join us! If you have questions please call Jeanie McLean at 205.663.6919 or Susan Long at 205.663.497.
